It all started with a mistake.
In 2011 I turned eighteen and got ten thousand dollars my parents had put in my name after their divorce.
My mom wanted me to save it. Ideally, for a house. I bought a twenty-year-old Audi B4 and a brand-new MacBook Pro.
Steve Jobs was still alive when I got my first iPhone. And died right after I bought that MacBook.
A couple of years later, tired of playing Angry Birds, I decided to become an iOS developer. So I did what everyone does: bought a developer account, read the docs, opened Xcode and started coding hello world.
The laptop paid for itself many times over. The Audi — not so much.
My name is Asylbek Isataev. I'm from the 41st Junction — that's a real place in Kazakhstan. AI41 is named after it.
Here I'll post my work, my thoughts and everything else.
Hello, everyone.
